These look great and were easy to install.
Hard to tell if they are any better than the original ones until we get some snow.
Not sure why the originals didn’t have ratchets to begin with. Originals had a rubber strap that often came loose regardless how tight you tried to make it. Look forward to trying them out once we get some snow.

These bindings are strong and secure. I am not handy with tools but I installed them myself. I am a 76 year old female.

With few modifications these are a perfect replacement and upgrade to my Yukon Charlie snowshoes after the Yukon Charlie binding webbing wore out. I cut off the Yukon Charlie side straps on both sides so only the toe stop and main body plastic under foot cage remained. After installation I made a new toe stop strap and I am back floating on top of the snow again. A wonderful upgrade with the ratchet straps.

I haven't put them though a winters work yet, but they appear to the best quality that can be found. These are replacements for the bindings of my work "beater" snowshoe bindings of another brand that died in service last year.
